It can feel so lonely!

Do you ever wonder if you're the only one who struggles to stay organized, focused, or on top of things?

You're not alone—and you don't have to figure it out alone either.

In our ADHD skills & support group, you'll connect with others who get it—because they're living it too.

Together, we’ll tackle challenges like:

  • Disorganization and cluttered thinking

  • Difficulty staying focused

  • Impulsive decision making

  • Forgetting important tasks

  • Procrastination

  • Struggles with time management

You’ll learn practical tools, share strategies, and build a supportive community—all while working toward real progress.

Change is possible—and it starts here.

What is an ADHD Group?

At PRGRS Therapy, we blend evidence-based modalities with peer support, helping you feel less alone while building real, lasting skills.

This group is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional who draws from:

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • Executive function skills training

Each group includes a mix of structured skill-building and open discussion, allowing space to not only learn, but to reflect and share with others. You'll get hands-on tools you can use right away—and you'll process the emotional impact of ADHD alongside others who truly understand.

Common themes we explore include:

  • Executive function skill building

  • Daily challenges of living with ADHD

  • Managing healthy relationships with ADHD

  • Self-esteem

  • Imposter syndrome

  • Shame and guilt

  • Educating our loved ones about ADHD

  • Perfectionism

In this group, you'll gain more than insight and strategies—you'll find a community of adults navigating similar challenges, all guided by an experienced therapist who specializes in ADHD and executive functioning.

How does an ADHD Group Work?

  1. We begin with a free consultation: We can talk about your needs and whether or not group will be beneficial for you.

  2. An intake is complete: Meet with a therapist individually to go over your past and present concerns.

  3. Join the group: Following the intake, you will be admitted into the group and can hit the ground running

  • Our group is currently all virtual

  • One of our licensed therapists will facilitate the group each week.

  • Group lasts 60 minutes each.

  • There is no requirement, but we do encourage folks to try the group consistently for a few months.

  • Our therapists are licensed in the State of New York. This means that a person must be located in the state of New York at the time of the session.

  • An intake is required for each potential group member so that we can do a formal mental health assessment to determine what you have been dealing with and how we can help. We will go through some assessments and talk through your present issues as well as history. Think about the intake as the foundation on which the house gets built.
